Top NCAA Content Plan (And How You Get Involved)

The cycle is just 10 days away, and we plan to hit the ground running. The next updates you can expect to get will be:

  1. Time line on key events from game release to League start (anticipated date of July 29th)
  2. Season 1 Conference Alignment
  3. How-To-Guide to schedule your non-conference games.

That being said, this article is to inform you of the content types planned, and how best you can feature your team.

Live Game Broadcast

We are relaunching the TopSportsNetwork on Twitch that will also see games uploaded to Youtube so we can revisit the legendary games of the cylce.

Our broadcast team consist of Fin, Derek, and Hofinator. Should you have a key matchup, or you are playing your games in the evening roughly 7-10 est, please reach out to us via DM and we can schedule a time to air your game live.

Re-Run Broadcast

Not everyone plays at the ideal live broadcast time, and there are historical games every week that get forgotten. Did you have a nail biter ending at 2am? or maybe you got a game in during lunch or a weekend that featured some huge comeback. Either way, let the broadcast team know your game and make sure your VOD on twitch saved. We will re-broadcast your game to the TopSportsNetwork twitch channel and it will air live that night, and find itself on YouTube to stay forever.

K1NG’s Court

Coach K1NG is joining the content cycle and he wants to focus highlighting on the individual storylines. He wants to hear what makes your team unique and highlight that style in various formats. Yes, that means to contribute you will have to shed some insider views into your scheme. It doesn’t have to wait until the season starts for this either. The team reveal has occurred, everyone is planning one what they want to do. Reach out to K1NG , have a quick conversation with him about your scheme plans, unique focus on recruiting, or whatever you have up your sleeve this year so we can find creative ways to showcase that.

Plays of the Week

A short form content piece we are bringing back is the plays of the week. There will be a discord channel called #plays-of-the-week that is the center for submitting plays. If you are watching a stream and see a crazy play, clip it and post the link in chat. If you finish your game and had a crazy play, clip it and submit it. This is your chance to get a highlight in maybe a total game that wasn’t so hot. We will also keep note of those that submit from games they watched, and we will reward those who do so.

Articles and Write Ups

Fun articles and write ups tracking the season, the playoff race, the recruiting cycle and more will help shape the league. This is something that can take just a few minutes of your day to create a more immersive league. Should you find yourself wanting to contribute, reach out to Fin who will create you an account and share with you a quick how-to clip to get you going. Even if you are intimidated by WordPress website, even typing the content up and sending to Fin via google doc is helpful.
