Fellas, we are getting closer to the league starting, and I ask you be patient with me as we determine the optimal time to get this thing going. That being said, the CM’s have discussed and determined a rule regarding roster management and position changes.
Position changing is way more common in college football versus pro ball, and we want that to be available to you. That being said, its important to remember that this is a sim league and a video game so there HAS to be a level of fairness and legislation on the topic.
Below is each position group and what is banned (will never be approved) and the conditions for auto approval, which means you can do the change with no CM discussion. SHOULD YOU WANT TO MOVE A PLAYER OUTSIDE OF THE AUTO APPROVED CONDITIONS, YOU MUST DM A NCAA CM. Prepare to provide justification.
There is a position change week before the seasons starts, and that is where a players position can be changed. You cannot change position during the season, however if the depth chart allows them to move to a position (that is within the rules) then you may do so.
Punishment: If you break position change rules, you are subject to removal from league, or firing and coming back as a 2 star team.
ATH
Every ATH is given a position, and they have various ratings. The only requirement is to move an ATH to TE they must be over 230lbs. Any other position is fine.

HB
Banned: None
Auto Approved: WR, LB
WR
Auto Approved: CB, HB if toughness is under 80.
note: moves to TE may be submitted to CMs, these will be passed extremely rare and will see the most scrutiny.

Auto Approved: WR, LB, DL
OL:
Banned: TE
Auto Approved: OL, DL
DE:
Auto Approved: DL, OL, OLB if under 260lbs (Can still play edge in 3-4, but position change to OLB, or off ball requires weight requirement)
DT:
Auto Approved: OL, DL
OLB:
Auto Approved: DE if over 220lbs, MLB
MLB:
Auto Approved: OLB, DE if over 220lbs, S, HB
CB:
Banned: LB (Note: corners moved to safety, cannot later be moved to LB)
