Playoff Preview

Games played already:

Bills @ Raiders

In an abysmal playoff debut for Sam Darnold, the Raiders fall flat at home against the top WC seed. 8 interceptions for Buffalo leads to a shocking 61-25 victory and the 5 seed will advance.

Football Team @ Packers

With a dominant run game and fresh off two big wins, the Football Team had all the momentum entering the wild card round. Things got real, fast. The Packers boast the leagues top defense and were able to stifle the Washington ground game allowing just 23 yards. a 23-13 victory for the NFC N Champion as they send Kyle packing.

What’s Next

Colts vs Dolphins

First time around this matchup went the Colts way 35-13. Now add in 94 overall Aaron Rodgers and I don’t think its particularly close. That being said the Dolphins boast the best 1-2 punch in the league at running back and should they be able to control the TOP and play a game of 7s, their aggressive defense may be able to capitalize. I predict the Colts by 14,

Giants vs Panthers

Another rematch as these two butted heads in week 14 where the Panthers dropped 48 points to the Giants 28. The key was forcing three interceptions against Daniel Jones. I think most would put the user skill of NB over that of Dan if they had to choose, but the Panthers have an offense that is deep and talented across the board. My guess, this one goes to OT and the Panthers win.

Seahawks vs Cowboys

The NFC 2 seed will be not one, but two games without their XF WR Amari Cooper due not fixing the Air YPC violation from week 8. But, it isn’t passing that got the Cowboys here, it was their run game. Their committee approach has kept Dak healthy and efficient and forced teams to make mistakes. The Cowboys also ranked second in points allowed, but their opponent ranked first. The Seahawks ability to win in all phases on defense can never be overlooked and not having to worry about Amari means he can focus on Zeke. My prediction? Dallas by 7

Steelers vs Ravens

This rivalry only gets better as these two have split the series 1-1 so far and feature explosive teams. No suspensions here so its all on the table. The key here? can the Ravens slow McFarland. In their win they held him and Snell to a combined 41 yards, in their loss they allowed 175. Doesn’t get simpler than that, stop the run, stop the steelers. But its cold. Its playoffs. And Ben’s hero days are over. I got the Steelers combining for 150+ on the ground in a 10 point win.
