When asked if he would go after a QB, new user Kevin said “Bo Knows” and this week, he knew perfection. Nix and company put up 57 points in a dominant performance. As for Seattle, the passing game looked as complete as ever but the lack of a consistent run game from K9, as well as being down early, led to a pass heavy attack.

This game looked to be out of hand really fast. Lance looked unstoppable as the Rams thundered to a 21-0 lead. However, a couple big touchdowns to Jameson Williams put the Lions back in the hunt, and the defense stepped up in the second half. The Lions scored 14 points in the last 2 minutes of the game, and it was a David Montgomery touchdown run that sent Lions to week 2 with a 1-0 record and a whole lotta heartburn.

College Football
ACC Unbeatens humbled by Red and Black
The remaining unbeaten ACC teams, Virginia Tech and Clemson, both lost their 0 in tough battles against the top teams in the nation. Clemson was in a high scoring affair with the 23 ranked Bulldogs, but fell short late.
Virginia Tech was in an absolute war in Ohio, while it remained 14-7 for awhile, the Hokies just couldn’t find the offense to keep up as Ohio St eventually pulled ahead.
UCLA top 4-2 Buffalos in Pac 12
UCLA continues to dominate the Pac 12 with elite defense and a powerful run game. The Bruins were able to stifle a dominant Hunter-Sanders connection and improve to 6-0 on the year.
UCF continues B1G dominance
The Golden Knights leaned on Paul Richardson to step up on the road and UCF improved to 5-2 with an impressive win over the Bearcats. With a lot of competition in the B1G, UCF winning out likely puts them in the B1G championship with a CFP berth available.
