Luck Has Colts Firing on All Cylinders | League Report

Two seasons ago Andrew Luck was at 74% shoulder health and the league questioned if he would ever play football again. This year, Luck is at 74% completion percentage and has the Colts locked in at 3-0.

Sporting a 141.1 passer rating Luck has been absolutely phenomenal since the week 1 victory of the Chargers and continued his dominance into matchups against Tennessee and Atlanta.

Their big challenge will come in a week 5 matchup against Kansas City, a team that sent them home packing in the AFC divisional round last year.

Jordan On Pace to Shatter Sack Record

For a pass rusher in the National Football League, a double digit sack season is pro bowl worthy and a sign that you have what it takes to play edge at the highest level. But what if you did just that, in just three games?

Saints veteran pass rusher has absolutely dominated the stat column this year, racking up 10 sacks in three games. This puts him firmly on pace for 50+ on the year. Is this sustainable? A look at his division will show that the Bucs, Falcons, and Panthers have given up 20 sacks already over the last three weeks, averaging out to 2 a game. While not exactly time for panic, none of those teams quarterbacks sport a positive TD/INT ratio so even if Jordan can’t keep the pace, he certainly will keep the pressure.

Leading the league in yards after contract, Lewis looked to put the Titans in a position to compete for the division but a shoulder tear will sideline the running back for multiple games.

Joining him on the injury report is Buffalo wide receiver Cole Beasley who is out 5 weeks with a shoulder tear of his own, Alex Collins with a Broken Tibia returns week 6, and rookie wide receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside will recover from his broken ankle and return in week 9.
