Tarik a true X-Factor
This offseason, the Falcons traded a 2nd rounder and Calvin Ridley to the Chicago Bears in a move that had the league in uproar. Many felt that while Cohen did have the SS dev trait he simply over paid to get him. No surprise, Allen will get the last laugh as Tarik Cohen had a monster performance against the Panthers which earned him the Superstar X-Factor trait. He picks up the spin cycle trait and the First One Free zone ability.
Just Throwin It To The Open Guy
Last season we saw the first HB since Adrian Peterson (2012) win the leagues MVP. This year, early indications are that it will be a quarterback, specifically Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes, who has played well last year, has found ways to elevate his efficiency to a level we have never seen. 22 touchdowns and 6 interceptions, the Chiefs sit atop the AFC standings and it starts with the right shoulder of Mahomes. The Chiefs are not solely there based on QB play as they sit first in points, second in passing, 1st in points allowed, 1st in total yards allowed, and 1st in passing yards allowed. The rebound from last year’s one and done playoff performance is in full effect and the Chiefs are early favorite for the whole thing.
New Faces
After facing disciplinary action from the league, the Redskins have moved on from head coach Joshua Ring. The league has announced the signing of Hellcat to Washingtons coaching staff. An unknown entity, Hellcat takes over a developmental roster with excellent key young pieces and the league’s top run defense. They sit 3-5 firmly at third place in the NFC East.
