GAMEPLAY – OFFENSE

4th Down Rules

You may only go for it on 4th down in realistic situations. These include and are limited to:

  • Anytime its 4th and 4 or less past your own 45.
  • Any “and goal” scenario regardless of yardage.
  • You are losing in the 4th quarter
  • You are winning late in the 4th quarter and conversion would lead to a “game clinching” situation.

Kicking and Punting

Fake punts and FGs are allowed at any time.
Onside kicks are allowed if you are down in the follow circumstances:

  • Down in the fourth quarter.

Do not abuse squib kicks or sky kicks with the intent to recover.
Do not squib punt.
Do not scum kick.

Running Up The Score

There are no rules for running up the score. However, if you are up by a significant amount in the 4th, it is expected that you are playing backups and if your opponent concedes via discord DM, please work to get the game over with.

CMs have discretion for unsportsmanlike behavior.

Playcalling

While there is no rules for run pass ratio, and stat padding this year. It is expected that you mix up play calls and avoid spamming the same route concepts. The better you self police, the less rules i have to make.

Chew Clock Feature should only be used when one team is up and the opponent concedes.

KNEEL THE BALL when you have the ability to end the game.

Stat Limits

There are no single game or season stat limitations. We expect the wear/tear system to self police this. However, as always puts sportsmanship over the stat column.

Hot Routes

There are 5 eligible receivers on every snap. For CFB25 you may adjust no more than 2 on every play. This includes blocking. (Custom stems/smart routes are excluded from this count)

Pre-Snap Motion

Do not snap the ball while a WR/TE is in motion.

  • This only applies to manual motioning. Designed motions such a HB Wham or End Around is allowed.

Hike and Haul:

The expectation is that if you call a play that doesn’t have designed QB rollout/run, that you run the structure of the play. The means attempting to make a logical passing read before using the QBs legs.

Immediately leaving the pocket to scramble for the sideline is a clear violation.

GAMEPLAY – DEFENSE

Playcalling

There are no play calling limitations on defense.

Pass Rush

Rush at least 3 men every play. A spy doesn’t count.

TEAM MANAGEMENT

Coaches

You must create a custom coach when you join the league, regardless of season.

  • The hiring/firing of coordinators will be not regulated by the CM team until necessary to do so.

You can accept 2 job offers per cycle. We feel 3 teams is enough to play with for a year.

Roster

You may only change positions in the position change week. Please see below for the auto approved changes. If you have a position change that is not auto approved, please reach out to a CM.

Depth Chart

No WRs at TE.
DB positions are interchangeable
ATH players can play anywhere on the field. (look at ATH)

You can play a maximum of 4 CPU games a year. This includes and CPU conference games you get.

Every season we will allow you to schedule your own non-conference games. You will use discord to coordinate with other users to agree on a week to play.
